A club for senior ML engineers to explore and hack.
We are ML systems, product, and research engineers and staff or senior SWEs. Almost all of us are on sabbatical and interested in AI.
We're kind of like Recurse Center for machine learning, or South Park Commons for engineers instead of founders.
We meet in-person in San Francisco.
We're self-guided and collaborative
- We mostly do solo deep work and pairing
- Once per week, we share project ideas and look for possible collaborations
- We do 30-60 minutes of show-and-tell about 3x/week

We're nomadic
- Every month, we move to a new office in SF with an aligned org
- From mid-September through October, we're hosted by Chroma in the Mission
- From November through EOY, we're hosted by Imbue in Hayes Valley
- It's a win-win to swap war stories and demos with a variety of engineering teams

Who we're looking for
- Excited to spend months on intensive learning & research
- Experience as a Senior SWE, MLE, or equivalent
- Down to cowork IRL in SF
- We're not about generating tons of code - what unites us is a desire to think rigorously about challenging problems related to AI
- We're not a good fit for founders - we're a club for engineers!
